The Dawson will partner with Bow & Hammer and Steinway & Sons on Tuesday, November 17th from 7pm-9pm to host “Giving Thanks For Music” on the second floor of the West Town restaurant. A “friendsgiving” of sorts, executive chef Shaun King will serve Thanksgiving favorites from over-roasted turkey, roast beef and salmon to a plethora of sides, including mashed potatoes and gravy, braised greens, roasted seasonal vegetables, cornbread stuffing, biscuits, mini sweet potato marshmallow bites, a seasonal salad and stuffed apples.
While guests dine on the Thanksgiving buffet, there will be a live concert by Bow & Hammer, the Chicago-based violin and piano female duo, along with special guest Kaia String Quartet. Tickets, are $55 and include the concert, Thanksgiving buffet and one cocktail ticket. Guests are also encouraged to bring canned food items, which will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. For every canned food item brought to The Dawson, guests will receive a raffle ticket towards a variety of prizes.
