The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs (ULBGC) will host their 38th Annual Gala on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Union League Club of Chicago. Proceeds from the annual fundraiser will benefit the nearly 13,000 youth the organization serves annually with after-school programming designed to ensure success is within reach of each young person that walks through their Club doors.
Over the past 37 years the ULBGC Gala has generated over $3 million dollars for the benefit of more than 250,000 Chicago youth. The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs was founded in 1919 by members of the Union League Club of Chicago and remains one of the Club’s philanthropic priorities.
The annual evening is an opportunity for Union League Club members, volunteers, foundations, corporate partners and guests to demonstrate their deep commitment to serving at-risk youth at eight club sites in Chicago’s Pilsen, Humboldt Park, Near West Side, Bucktown, Englewood and South Lawndale communities. The ULBGC also operates a summer residential camp in Salem, Wisconsin for the benefit of its boys & girls club members
Gala chair, Nancy Ross of Chicago, is planning an elegant black tie evening, “Serving Neighborhoods, Changing Landscapes”, that begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction followed by dinner, live auction, raffle drawings and dancing to the music of Al Sofia Orchestra.
Dinner tickets are $300 per person.
