Held at Venue SIX10 in downtown Chicago, Illinois, the Impact Awards honor six Chicago-area women and men each year for their dedication to increasing resources and opportunities for women and girls in Chicagoland through The Chicago Foundation for Women. The Foundation promotes increased investment in women and girls, raises awareness about their issues and potential, and develops them as leaders and philanthropists.
"It is a great passion of mine to reach out in support, praise and celebration of other women. I believe there is no hood as powerful as the Sisterhood," Rosenmayer said. "Here I know that I am every woman and every woman is me. When I lift up another woman, I lift myself up and I lift up all women. Together in Sisterhood, we can make a difference not only for each other but for the entire world."
Chosen for its steadfast commitment to support the growth of women in the energy industry, Rosenmayer and INTREN's dedication extends far beyond the walls of its headquarters in Union, Illinois. INTREN supports over 75 charities or non-profit organizations nationwide. The contractor is an avid supporter of the Chicago Foundation for Women, Women's Business Enterprise National Council, Women's Business Development Center, Midwest Energy Association's Energetic Women, Federation of Women Contractors and Women's Energy Network. INTREN is also a partner in ComEd's Chicago urban employment training program, CONSTRUCT, and has established the POWER Group for INTREN's female employees.
