The Black Beauty Festival
Victory Gardens Theater and the Black Women’s Expo are teaming up to host the Black Beauty Festival, where shoppers can head to Victory Gardens Theater in Lincoln Park. For two days, Victory Gardens is transformed into a shopping destination for products from the best Black-owned and operated beauty companies in Chicago. Tickets include entrance into the Black Beauty Festival, a champagne cocktail to sip while guests peruse local beauty products, a Victory Gardens Theater swag bag, and a ticket to any performance of the World Premiere of acclaimed playwright Marcus Gardley’s, A Wonder in My Soul.

Conrad Chicago Oscar Viewing Party
The 2017 Academy Awards are almost here and The Conrad Chicago is hosting its first annual viewing party! Guests will be transported to La La Land as they enter the 19th-floor Atrium, which offers stunning Chicago skyline views. Stepping off the elevator, guests will walk the red carpet into the party, showing off their best La La Land inspired ensembles. Roaming bar carts, spectacular buffet stations, passed hors d'oeuvres and champagne, signature cocktails and a Best Dressed contest will make it a night to remember. TV's scattered throughout the space and a dedicated screening room will ensure that all guests have a front seat view of all of the Oscar happenings no matter where they are in the space.
