The Child-Free Woman: A Voice Lost in the Discourse on Women's Equality

It is an interesting time for women. Election Day is just a few months away, and Hillary Clinton is making history as the presumptive nominee for a major political party. The Supreme Court recently ruled in favor of the women of Texas after voting against the state’s restrictive abortion laws in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt. Sheryl Sandberg put a much-needed spotlight of support on single mothers in a Mother’s Day Facebook post, sharing, “We all owe it to single mothers to recognize that the world does not make it easy for them, especially for those who struggle to make ends meet.”
