If chowing down on tacos while jamming out to live music sounds like a dream come true, then come by the Lakeview Taco Fest, this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be all sorts of tacos, from hard-shelled chicken to soft-shelled fish, and a wide assortment of special taco and beer pairings for those wanting a refreshing brew on the side.

Midnight Circus in the Parks
All weekend long in Wicker Park, celebrate the 10th anniversary of Midnight Circus in the Parks, a special, family-friendly event that brings together aerialists and acrobats in parks throughout the city. All proceeds will go towards the Chicago Park District, an aspect of the show that has already raised over $850,000 for local park improvements. Tickets and show times can be found here.

West Loop Art Fest
On Saturday and Sunday, the West Loop will be home to over 100 talented artists showing and selling their work. There willl be a wide array of art available for perusal, including jewelry, paintings and photographs. In addition to the artists’ work, several established West Loop restaurants will be offering all kinds of drinks and dishes to enjoy while ambling about the festival.

Charcuterie Making “Meat Up” at Community Tavern
If you’re interested in the art of constructing delectable charcuterie plates, then this session, run by Community Tavern’s Chef de Cuisine Matt Saccaro, is for you! This Sunday at 1 p.m., for $50 a person, Saccaro will teach attendees how to make different charcuterie items. Following the session, participants can help themselves to provided small bites, beer, wine and cocktails.
